Research shows that daily reading significantly strengthens children’s reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension across all ages. Even as early as age 2, activities such as being read to, identifying letters, and exploring books help introduce children to foundational literacy concepts, including letter recognition, sounds, and early language development. These early experiences play a critical role in building the cognitive and language skills children need for long-term academic success.
Because of partners like SONIC, we are able to make literacy engaging and rewarding while encouraging a lifelong love of learning, from early letter recognition to confident, independent reading.
